Practice Manager

Billing/Insurance Manager

Sheri has been with Innovative Vein since August 2013. With over 25 years experience working in the administrative aspect of medical clinics, Sheri serves as our Practice Manager as well as our Insurance & Billing Manager. Sheri and her husband enjoy hiking, traveling, listening to music, watching sports, and spending time with their 2 married children and their families. She and her husband are very active in church ministry. 

Administration Capacity in Pre-certifications, Prior Authorizations, Referrals, Predeterminations

Julie has worked at Innovative Vein since May of 2014. She is married (30+ years) with 3 grown Children, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, 2 step grandsons, and 2 dogs. She is a Kansan Native. Julie enjoys church, family vacations, DYI projects especially refurbishing, traveling, event planning, reading books, and learning about our history and finding  out-of-the-way quaint diners. She also loves Scooters coffee, Mexican food, helping others, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Registered Medical Assistant and Certified Phlebotomist

Dawn received her certificates from Wichita Technical Institute. She has been with Dr. Cheatum’s office and Spa MD since April of 2017. Her duties include running the front desk and occasionally rooming patients, and help with putting on compression stockings or wraps on patients after procedures for their varicose veins, c as well as help with getting dictations completed for Dr. Cheatum. Periodically she assists on the cosmetics side as well by giving patients our Lipo, Super B, Glutithione and Vitamin D injections. She wants to continue her education in the medical field and get her degree for becoming a Physician’s Assistant. "Working here for this office is awesome and I love what I do, I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with!"

 Certified Medical Assistant CMA(AAMA)

Mitzi has been with Innovative Vein since August of 2018. Her primary duties are to room patients, obtain vitals from patients, send out prescriptions as ordered by Dr. Cheatum as well as help Dr. Cheatum out as much as possible in any way necessary. She is a compression stocking specialist for the office and she also helps patients in the steps needed to obtain a pneumatic compression device for their legs after treatment. She also helps out at Spa MD with giving Vitamin injections and assisting at the front desk. 

Mitzi has a teenage daughter named Genevieve.  Mitzi graduated high school from Arcadia Nebraska in 2002. She got her Associates of Applied Science in Medical Assisting degree from Kaplan University in Lincoln Nebraska in 2013. She has been certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants, Inc. since 2013.

Certified Nurse Assistant

Jessie started working for Innovative Vein in September of 2015. She is married and has 2 wonderful sons that keep her on her toes.

Jessie's responsibilities at Innovative Vein include rooming patients, obtaining vitals from patients and she is in charge of ordering supplies for the office. She also assists with helping patients in the process of obtaining a pneumatic compression device.

Outreach Coordinator

Kristan has worked for Innovative Vein since October 2019. She is in charge of scheduling and prepping all appointments for our 3 outreach clinics. She does both front desk and medical assisting duties while on the road to the outreach offices.

Kristan has a daughter that keeps her busy outside of work.

Registered Sonographer

CJ started at Innovative Vein in 2010 working as the outreach sonographer. In his time here he has worked with 4 different providers.

CJ is married with 4 children that keep him and his wife quite busy with their activities
